Kansje jeg lager Yet Another Review senere også….

Pic2Shop

I was at the trainstation, waiting, still am… Anyways, I tried out something new. On my iPhone, I have this app called pic2shop. You use it to take a picture of the barcode, submit it, and it tells you what the item would cost online. I was in a shop called DesignTorget, and tried it out today. I figured this app was a good idea, becaue books are one of the few things you can import privatly without paying tolls to Norway. At the shop, this book was expensive, but the app told me I could get it for almost 1/5 from Amazon Uk. Got to be happy with that!

This is also the longest text I have written from the iPhone. Figures it’s important to have a structured thought before you start writing…

So, I have decided to start a blog. Again…

I have been through this a few times in the last 14 years, which is as long as I have been on the internet, and now Im doing it again. I intend for this to be a place where I can write about whatever I feel like, except for travel, which is on my travel blog http://www.beatentrack.info.

I went through all those microblogging sites like Tumblr, the “lifestream” ones like Twitter, but none of those where the appropriate medium for my ramblings. My intentions is to blog ad-hoc, so dont expect frequent updates, and for the search engines, about whatever topic currently occupies me.

On my initial list of drafts, I have “Dentists and computers”, “How do I mount a swivel arm and TV weighing 30kg on a modern gyprock wall” and “Whats going on with expat labour in Norway?”
